Nearly everything we encounter either contains some form of plastic, or requires plastic to produce. Single use plastics are so ingrained into our routine lives, we forget the havoc they are wreaking on our environment. This series is part of a larger body of work aiming to address our relationship with the waste we produce and its impact.

Using primarily plastics and aluminum products found around the home as my weft, I wove these wall hangings into a natural cotton fiber warp using a combination of plain weaves, twills, and tapestry weaves to build up structures.
