Oceanic Objects
An experimental painting series inspired by marine life.
This collection of work entices it’s viewers to reach out and feel. Using found and discarded objects to work through the 3rd dimension, this series is intended to be experienced through multiple senses. Working in a small scale with light weight materials, these pieces are easily maneuverable. This helps them to exist in a grey area between decorative objects and classical forms of art.
Beyond the two constants, 12 x 12 inch frame and acrylic paint base, each of these works uses a range of unique materials. At the bottom of this page is a list of materials used. I’ve included this list for the digital viewer to ponder the following questions:
